Junior Waterpolo in Northampton - Saturday 9th May

Junior waterpolo players get a taste of the action!
Younger members of Grantham Waterpolo Club were guests this weekend at Northampton Waterpolo club for an afternoon of valuable matchplay experience and confidence building in their game development.
A squad of 13 travelled down with superb support from parents and young coaches in order to play a full 4 quarter game with intentionally similarly matched sides on a ‘friendly’ basis.

Welcome to Grantham Water Polo Club

We are a club that is run by volunteers and we are committed to help each member develop as a water polo player. Our qualified coaches will deliver a development programme to help each member reach their full potential in a safe and proper manner. The club is open to both boys and girls from ages 11 to 18 and includes older members moving onto university. Our members have achieved success in a variety of competitions, including the winners and finalists in both, the English Schools National competition, the London Schools’ competition and Regional Water Polo Leagues. A number of our members train at the RTC (Regional Training Centre) in Nottingham and in turn have represented the East Midlands in National competitions. Over the years we are proud to have had several players go on to be selected for the GB academy.

We are always on the lookout for new volunteers to help with the running of the club. If you are interested in helping then please let us know by contacting our Chair,
Sally Dunlop: 07932 165769
Kind regards,

Grantham Water Polo Club Committee
